Using the Radix 1.0 License

It is recommended that you include a copy of the Radix License, typically in a file called LICENSE, in your work, and consider also including a NOTICE file that references the License: Radix License 1.0 txt version

To apply the Radix License to specific files in your work, attach the following Boilerplate Declaration, replacing the fields enclosed by brackets "[         ]" with your own identifying information (don't include the brackets!). Enclose the text in the appropriate comment syntax for the file format. We also recommend that you include a file or class name and description of purpose on the same "printed page" as the copyright notice for easier identification within third-party archives.

If the name of your decentralised ledger has a registered (or unregistered trademark or name associated with it and you would like the protocol itself to be referred to by that name (e.g., (Trademark ®), you can add a trademark license to your license boilerplate declaration (see below). This is optional and in “{         }” bracket below. If you would prefer not to include this, the text in “{         }” brackets can simply be removed. This trademark license does not affect the ability of others to use/vary the code you are licensing.

Please note that the disclaimer notice on this license is more expansive than the standard Apache 2.0 license (this is the main difference between Radix License 1.0 and Apache License 2.0) – Layer 1 protocols/ledgers are used as published running code that facilitates the exchange of value directly as written without being incorporated or used as part of other code or systems.
