Radix Licenses

Radix Publishing Ltd (RPL) has created a set of various licenses to facilitate the distribution of software and documentation, and to help the acceptance of regular contributions from individuals and corporations.

Radix Publishing Ltd has followed the APACHE LICENSE, VERSION 2.0 standard, but widened the scope to take into account the added legal complexities likely to affect the software for Open Source public permission-less distributed ledgers.

The purpose of these licenses is to help us achieve our goal of creating an engaged and collaborative community around a public digital commons. These license terms are designed to help protect this community and provide reliable and long-lived software products through collaborative, open-source software development.

As with the APACHE LICENSE, VERSION 2.0, in all cases, contributors retain full rights to use their original contributions for any other purpose outside of Radix while providing Radix Publish Ltd and its projects the right to distribute and build upon the contributor's work.
